n the nineteenth century Pietro and Domenico Clarici, pioneers of Umbrian olive-tree cultivation, planted olive-trees on the hills east of Foligno, from Colpersico to Sassovivo. In 1874 they accomplished their project by realizing an important oil-mill on the interior of an ancient convent, located in the historical centre of the town of Foligno.

The extra-virgin olive oil coming from these valuable Umbrian olives obtained high acknowledgements in the most important exhibitions in Italy and in other European countries. Particularly, the International Exposition of Paris in 1900 was very meaningful.

The last acknowledgement in time order goes back to 30 March 1996, when the Clarici extra-virgin olive oil won the prestigious "Ercole Olivario" national prize for the "fruttato leggero" category.

After four generations, our business philosophy still has its core into producing an extremely qualitative olive oil, meant for particularly demanding and qualified customers.
